The Cookies we use:-

Advertising cookies

AppNexus uses unique cookies to identify web browsers and to store data for advertising purposes, including interest-based advertising. AppNexus is designed to use only non-Personal Identifiable Information (PII), and AppNexus has contractual provisions that prohibit its client from associating Platform cookies with PII. AppNexus uses cookies to associate non-PII with browsers and devices so that clients can then use the information to select ads for delivery by the Platform. Further information can be found on the Appnexus website

Google Advertising Services (AdSense, AdX, Doubleclick)
Google uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings

These cookies collect information about your browsing habits in order to make advertising more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. The cookies remember the websites you visit and that information is shared with other parties such as advertisers. Further information can be found on the OpenX website

Oath (Aol, ADTECH)
A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers stored on to your browser when you access certain websites, including Oath Services. Cookies allow a website to recognise a user's preferences as previously chosen by the user when they return to a site. A cookie itself does not contain or collect information. However, when it is read by a server in conjunction with a web browser it can help a website deliver a more user-friendly service, for example, remembering previous purchases or account details. The website server which sends the cookie uses a randomly generated unique number (called a value) to recognise you when you return to a site or browse from page to page. Only the server that sent a cookie can read, and therefore use, that cookie. Cookies are central to the customisation of the internet and online behavioural advertising usually works using cookies.  Further information can be found on the Oath website

Our customers, who include a number of premium website and mobile application publishers, use Rubicon Project’s advertising technology to help them provide their users with advertising that may be relevant to their interests. When you visit a website or use a mobile application that uses our advertising technology, we also collect certain information about your device. Some of this information, including for example your IP addresses and certain unique device identifiers, may identify a particular computer or device, and may be considered “personal data” in some jurisdictions in the European Union and elsewhere, but this data does not contain any “real world” identifiers such as your name, address, or contact details. Further information can be found on the RubiconProject website

OnScroll (sovrn)
Through the sovrn Services including the website, the sovrn publisher platform and other sovrn publisher tools and widgets, the sovrn ad exchange, sovrn header bidding, sovrn video products, sovrn, analytics and data services, and other sovrn products and services, we may collect information about Publishers and Readers. Publishers are natural persons, websites or publications where sovrn Services may reside. Readers are individuals who visit our publishers’ websites. Further information can be found on the sovrn website

Website cookies

Session cookies (PHPSESSID)
As websites have no memory, session cookies help us remember things from page to page and allow us to manage how the site works when you’re on it, controlling things such what sweepstake have you entered already today etc. Session cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser.

Log in/Registration cookies (PHPSESSID)
Much like session cookies, these login cookies, or SSID cookies help us remember things from page to page. In this instance, we’re remembering whether you’ve already logged in or not. Without these, you’d have to log in to every new page (which wouldn’t be fun right!).

Google Analytics cookies (OX_plg, _ga)
We use the Google Analytics suite to know what’s happening on our websites. How many people are visiting us, when, how often, what do they look at etc. This helps us monitor what’s popular and what’s not and make sure we’re delivering you prizes that you want to win.
